Root Fest is a 2 day festival which aims to educate and fuel conversations about black hair, the past, present and its future, and discuss topics about the black diaspora as a whole. The branding is influenced by African barbershop typography, colour and signage. It is meant to bring a sense of nostalgia and refresh to the past but bringing new elements to it to make it hip, modern and fresh.
