The festive season is always such a special time for South Africa the V&A Waterfronts “From the Mountain to the Sea” is no exception. We fused together illustration, hand woven and beaded designs to create scenic displays, sculpts and monuments such as hot air balloons, trees, ferris wheels, that are scaled to a humongous size. We wanted to bring together community, cultures and the diverse people that come visit during the christmas period. This project together almost the whole year from concept, execution to the finished products.
